The couple stepped out for what was already a memorable night, but they clearly werent expecting one of musics biggest names to put their love on blast in front of a packed crowd. And when J. Cole turned his attention toward the newlyweds, Cocos reaction said it all!
During J. Coles The Fall-Off World Tour stop at TD Garden in Boston on Friday, August 7, the rapper paused his performance to congratulate Coco and Donovan on recently tying the knot. Coco, 28, appeared stunned before bursting into excitement, while Donovan stayed close behind her and wrapped his arms around his wife during the sweet shoutout.
Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, congratulations to y’all. God bless y’all and y’all family, he said. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the type of sh*t that this song is about.
J. Cole said before encouraging the crowd to show love to the newlyweds. Donovan also planted a kiss on Cocos cheek as she celebrated the unexpected moment, making for a wholesome newlywed memory.
Fans quickly ran to The Shade Rooms Instagram comment section to show Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell plenty of love following their big day. Some joked that Ciaras prayer definitely worked, while others said the couple stays showing “all teeth” with their nonstop smiles. And of course, a few commenters couldnt help but joke that they were jealous of Donovan because he gets to call Coco his wife.
