J. Cole Supports Colin Kaepernick’s Return To The NFL Amid Reported Interest By Several Teams

J. Cole is a man of few words, especially with his presence on social media. However, on Thursday, the artist took time to stand behind former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. J. Cole, who is longtime supporter of Colin, is seemingly ready to see the football star hit the professional fields once again.

Cole Stands For Colin

J. Cole began by captioning a retweet with the tagged names of several notable NFL figures including, Pete Carroll, the Seahawks, the Raiders, the Panthers, the Buccaneers and Tom Brady. The original tweet was published by the account Rich Eisen Show in defense of Colin.

“There’s one final piece of this absolutely insane #NFL offseason that could possibly be the biggest move of them all — Kaepernick back on a team,” the account tweeted along with a video on the subject.

J. Cole’s retweet sparked input from other users. One person questioned Colin’s ability to produce on the field.

“Bro at this point he has no football left in him man he been throwing against the wind and ghost dbs for years,” user DillionDuncann10 wrote.

J. Cole responded, “Respectfully lil bro, how could you know what he has in him and what he doesn’t?”

But the Dreamville Records founder wasn’t finished there. In another tweet, he again replied to user DillionDuncann10.

“And, respectfully, youre 100% right about throwing against the wind and to ghost dbs. But always remember, hes been doing that every day for 5 years, when the entire world was saying he had zero shot of ever playing again,” J. Cole wrote. “Have you ever wanted something that bad? love!”

NFL Interest In Colin

J. Cole’s support comes amid news that NFL teams are once again showing interest in the athlete. As previously reported, football trainer David Robinson toldTMZthat at least five teams have inquired about his throwing arm following a recent training session with Colin.

Last October, the athlete spoke on his ongoing league training despite not being on the NFL roster since 2016. He responded with “absolutely” when asked if he desired to rejoin the NFL.

“…I am still up at 5 a.m. training five, six days a week, making sure Im prepared to take a team to a Super Bowl again,” Colin said.

Thats not something I will ever let go of, regardless of the actions of 32 teams and their partners to deny me employment. The same way I was persistent in high school is the same way Im gonna be persistent here,” Colin added.
