Pass The Tissues! Watch DC Young Fly’s Daughters React To A Christmas Gift Honoring Their Late Mom Jacky Oh (VIDEO)

For some, the holidays are all about celebration. But for others, they inspire painful memories of loss. This past Christmas, DC Young Flyand his family appeared to do a lil’ bit of both as they honored the memory of Jacky Oh. A relative seemingly gifted the comedian‘s daughters, Nova and Nala, a beautiful sculpture of their late mother.

In addition to their girls, DC and Jacky also welcomed a son named Prince Nehemiah less than a year before she passed away in May 2023.

Nova & Nala React To Sculpture Of Their Mom Jacky Oh

In the video, Nova and Nala are wearing purple and pink pajamas. A woman behind the camera asks the girls if they’re ready for their gift. The eldest, Nova, takes the gift bag that reads ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ and reads the card aloud.

“Merry Christmas cousin-babies. Your mother is always with you and looking down on you with all that you do. She is very proud of all of you,” Nova read. The card was signed with love from a cousin.

After hugging someone, Nova set the gift down and pulled out a medium-sized sculpture covered with bubble wrap. After pulling it out of the wrap, Nova’s mouth instantly dropped at the sight of Jacky Oh’s face, and a sweet “Mommy” slipped out. By that time, Nala had gotten closer, smiling at the sculpture and repeating that it was her “mom.” At one point, she admitted to missing her mommy.

The sculpture was about the size of a table lamp and featured Jacky Oh in her signature blonde cornrows, a silver chain, and a black outfit. Swipe below to see the footage and photos.

Since Jacky Oh’s death, DC Young Fly has opened up several times about how he’s handling the grief. In late June 2023, he admitted to crying all the time but said he was trying to maintain his positivity. The beauty influencer passed from complications with a body enhancement surgery, but the surgeon involved did not face any related criminal charges.
