Since 2017, supporters have followed FunnyMike and Jaliyah Andersons on-and-off relationship journey. From engagements and arguments to breakups and reconciliations, the couple has shared many highs and lows publicly. Recently, things took a turn after Jaliyah accused FunnyMike of assaulting her in front of their children. Since then, supporters have been trying to figure out what led to the situation. FunnyMike later took to social media to share his side of the story. However, Jaliyah doesnt appear to agree with how hes handling things. Now, shes speaking out with a new message as she opens up about entering a new chapter in her life.
Jaliyah took to her Instagram Story to respond after FunnyMike denied claims that he reportedly has two children on the way. The YouTuber also appeared to joke about the situation by sharing an AI-generated post, sparking reactions across social media.
In her message, Jaliyah seemingly reacted to FunnyMikes post. She explained that her decision to end their relationship is not rooted in anger, but in doing whats best for their children. Jaliyah also shared that shes focused on helping them navigate the situation after alleging that she was assaulted in front of them.
The influencer wrote,While people on here are laughing at his narcissistic behavior and turning a serious situation into a joke, Im the parent left picking up the pieces and answering the hard questions from my children. What happened isnt funny when kids are involved. My children didnt deserve to witness the things they witnessed, and they definitely dont deserve to carry the confusion, fear, and hurt that comes after.
My focus is, and always will be, protecting my kids, loving them through this, and showing them that unhealthy behavior should never be normalized.
And yes, because of that, after 8 years, I am finally leaving. Not out of anger, but out of love for my children and the example I want to set for them moving forward.
I have a responsibility to protect their hearts, their peace, and the way they learn what love is supposed to look like. If leaving means giving them a safer, healthier, and happier future, then thats a choice Ill make every single time. My children deserve peace and I so do I!
Amid Jaliyahs recent post, FunnyMike took to his Instagram Story with what appeared to be a response to the ongoing conversation surrounding the allegations.
In the video, he stated, Yall can paint me however yall want to paint me. I told yall Im going to take every lick. Aye! Some people aint no saints though, dawg. Yall always seen my vlogs, but yall dont know the half. Imma leave it at that.
Many gathered under The Shade Room Teens post to react to Jaliyah and FunnyMikes messages. Supporters quickly shared mixed opinions and debated whose side they believed. While some supported Jaliyah, others felt there was more to the story. Some commenters even argued that, like always, the pair may eventually get back together.
