Jay Cinco and Lala Baptiste have had the internet talking after announcing that they decided to go their separate ways.This comes after Cinco proposed to Lala at their baby shower in March 2026, before the pair welcomed their daughter in May 2026.
Despite their split, Cinco and Lala said theres no bad blood between them. They plan to remain a family and continue showing up for their daughter. Days after the announcement, Cinco returned to stream to set the record straight on speculation surrounding their split.
Jay Cinco hopped on stream after recently revealing that he and Lala Baptiste decided to go their separate ways. During the stream, Cinco addressed speculation linking Summyah Marie to their breakup following drama that unfolded online last week.
Last week, Summyah and influencer Tatiana Chanells friendship fallout made its way online, with Jay Cincos name eventually brought into the mix. Tati alleged that Cinco and Summyah had relations, raising questions about the timing due to his relationship with Lala.
Summyah clarified that their fling happened in 2025, before Cinco began dating Lala, and asked that he be left out of the drama. Cinco also made it clear that the recent situation had nothing to do with his breakup from Lala. He revealed they had already planned to announce their split before the drama even unfolded.
Its been like this for a while, cause I seen just coincidentally, like a little drama s**t with Summyah that came out. But we was already finna post this. We have been living separately for the past, like, I wanna say about two, three weeks,” he explained.
Cinco also shut down cheating speculation involving himself and Lala.
People saying, like, I cheated on my girl. I never cheated on my girl. My girl never cheated on me. Its not one of those type of situations. I havent seen Summyah since the last time we streamed together,” he added.
Cinco echoed Summyahs statements, adding that the last time he saw her was when they streamed together in early 2025.
As Jay Cinco continues to open up about how things have been since separating from Lala, he spoke about their co-parenting relationship. The streamer explained that he wants to maintain a close relationship with Lala while continuing to be present for their daughter. He also shared that their breakup wont stop them from spending time together as a family
I still have plans of doing family things with them. I dont think that should go along with the relationship. We brought a beautiful life, and she deserves the best life she can have, regardless if her parents arent together,” he said.
Cinco added that he has remained present since moving out and credited Lala for how theyve communicated through the change.
I have been there since I moved out the past two weeks. Ive been there every day. Shout out to Lala too, cause we just have a great level of communication,”he stated
While reflecting on their relationship, Cinco had nothing but positive things to say about Lala and their time together.
But I love her to death, bro. Lala is great, bro. Shes amazing. Very caring. It was a great experience. Im grateful to have her in my life for the rest of my life,” he said.
As for whats next, Cinco said he plans to keep his future relationships off stream while focusing more on himself.
“Moving forward, I just ask that we just dont bring my relationships to the stream anymore. I just want to start clean. We just get back to work, get back streaming, staying consistent, getting closer to God, staying in the gym and doing what we got to do to be better individuals for ourselves,” he said.
