The Internet was buzzing with the birth of the Carter Twins, reportedly a boy and a girl. However, sources confirm Beyonce didnt go full-term. Although, reports have confirmed their birth this past weekend, the twins came a little earlier than expected. Currently, TMZ reports the twins were born premature and are under the lights to normalize.
Though the source connected to the family was not specific, when babies are born prematurely, being under lights can usually means the babies have elevated bilirubin levels (or jaundice as its better known). The condition is common among preemies and in most cases not dangerous. The lights are designed to help eliminate jaundice by lowering the bilirubin in the blood.
