Jay Z Spills Hella Tea On 4:44 — Talks Beyoncé, Kanye West, His Mom, And More!

4:44, is that you playa!? Jay Z had us all waiting on his next album ever since Bey wowed the world with #Lemonade. Jay finally delivered and the internet has completely lost it because Jay took it there!

Y’all know we can’t just skip over the fact that he finally made mention of doing Beyonce wrong… including the elevator incident! He also touched on his frenemy relationship with Kanye West and opened up about his mother’s sexuality.

He spills hella tea on “Kill Jay Z!” For those who took it literal, Jay is talking about killing off his ego so he can say his piece, in peace.

“You walkin’ around like you invincible, you dropped out of school and lost your principles I know people backstab you, I feel bad too,” he raps about Kanye. “But this ‘f–k everybody’ attitude ain’t natural. But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe. But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye. You gave him 20 million without blinkin’, He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f– was he thinkin’? ‘F–k is wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

“Let go your ego over your right shoulder. Your left is sayin’, “Finish your breakfast! You egged Solange on Knowin’ all along All you had to say you was wrong. you almost went Eric Benet. let the baddest girl in the world get away. I don’t even know what else to say — nigga’ll never go eric benet. I dont even know what you woulda done in the future other niggas playin football with ya son.”

He continues to speak on he and Bey’s relationship on “4:44,” a song he says he wrote in the middle of the night — or early morning depending on how your sleep schedule is. At 4:44 AM, Jay was motivated to write:

“We talked for hours when you were on tour
Please pick up the phone, pick up the phone
Said: ‘Don’t embarrass me,’ instead of ‘Be mine’
That was my proposal for us to go steady
That was your 21st birthday, you mature faster than me
I wasn’t ready, so I apologize
I’ve seen the innocence leave your eyes
I still mourn this death, I apologize for all the stillborns
‘Cause I wasn’t present, your body wouldn’t accept it.”

When Jay gets to “Smile,” he reveals his mother is a lesbian and how he felt about his witness of that journey!

“Mama had four kids, but she’s a lesbian
Had to pretend so long that she’s a thespian
Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate
Society shame and the pain was too much to take
Cried tears of joy when you fell in love
Don’t matter to me if it’s a him or her
I just wanna see you smile through all the hate
Marie Antoinette, baby, let ’em eat cake.”

The album is heavy, to say the least! How are y’all feeling it so far #Roomies? Bump it or dump it?!
