Jazmine Sullivan Cancels Nashville Show As She Continues To Recover From COVID

Roommates, we are continuing to keep Jazmine Sullivan lifted in prayer as she recovers from COVID.

On Monday, she took to social media to share that she, unfortunately, had to cancel yet another show as she focuses on her health. In a message posted to her Instagram story, Jazmine said, “I know I’ve been quiet but I’ve been trying to rest my body and my voice. COVID got the best of me and I have to postpone tomorrow’s show in Nashville. I apologize to my fans who have been waiting to see me. I’ve been so looking forward to seeing you all too, and it has been hard for me to not play these shows.”

“I’m really praying I will be ready for Atlanta and I’m trying to take it day by day,” she continued. “Keep me in your prayers and I will be seeing you soon.”

Jazmine first announced that she had tested positive for the virus at the end of February. While announcing her diagnosis, she also shared that she had to cancel her show in Los Angeles.

Jazmine was scheduled to embark on her “Heaux Tales Tour,” which is in support of her latest project “Heaux Tales.”

The tour was in such high demand that once tickets dropped, they were quickly selling out, and resellers were increasing the price of the tickets. As we previously reported, Jazmine addressed the situation last December and said, “I want to address what’s happening with my tour tickets. The reality is these are regular people who purchased tickets and are reselling them for a profit. It’s not right but that’s what happening.”

As a result of the resell prices, venues in seven cities were originally changed for larger venues.

We continue to wish Jazmine a speedy recovery.
