What Jeezy Said In Response To The Court Docs’ Allegations

The rap artist took to Instagram to clear his name. He denied the violent and neglectful incidents described in court documents obtained by The Shade Room. Jeezy alleges his ex-wife is maliciously trying to destroy his public image.

“The allegations are not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play..”

As the statement continued, Jeezy indicated that his only current concern is their two-year-old Monaco.

“…and at this time, my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandate joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through proper legal channels.”

In court documents reviewed by TSR, Jeannie Mai also listed concerns about Monaco involving her ex. Namely, the TV host expressed concerns about an incident where the toddler allegedly had access to her father’s AK-47 gun.  According to the documents, the minor child was vacated from the Atlanta, Georgia, residence on or about October 11, 2023.

This isn’t the first time Jeannie Mai has brought Jeezy’s firearms into their court proceedings. In December, months after Jeezy first filed for divorce in Sept., she also listed concerns about their child’s safety in a response filing.

“It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place, such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecured in the past, as well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping, but rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being,” Mai’s previous response filing said, per TMZ.

At the time, Mai also added that her intent wasn’t to restrict her ex-partner’s access to their daughter but to protect her.

On April 16, the rapper filed for “joint legal custody and joint physical custody of the minor child.” He’s also asking the court to determine a “specific parenting time schedule.”

Jeezy’s recent filing also claimed that Mai recently blocked his number, preventing him from speaking to the toddler.
