Details About Country Singer’s Divorce

TMZ was first to report news of Jelly Roll’s divorce, alleging that he filed the paperwork on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee. He reportedly listed their separation date as May 9 and cited irreconcilable differences. Sources allegedly told TMZ that the decision was mutual and “a private family matter.” The estranged couple met in 2015 at one of his Las Vegas concerts and a year later, he proposed onstage at another Las Vegas concert, per PEOPLE. That same night, they secretly eloped at a courthouse chapel and have been together for 10 years.

Bunnie XO Shares THESE Posts Amid Divorce Announcement

Following news of Jelly Roll’s divorce hitting the internet, so did Bunnie XO! She slid on Instagram to share a selfie video, singing Nickelback’s song, ‘How You Remind Me.’ She captioned the post, ‘Banger.’ The comment section under that post is flooded with questions about the divorce, supporters offering her advice and compassion and excitement for her “single baddie” era.

Meanwhile, on Instagram Stories, she posted a photo of herself wearing a satin-like, pink lingerie bra and panty set while kneeling on a couch. One strap is hanging off her shoulder, as she holds her breast in one hand and touches her shoulder with the other. She captioned the photo,“She’s getting her sparkle back.”

What Did Jelly Roll Say About His Wife At The Grammys?

Jelly Roll’s divorce filing shocked supporters late Monday (June 15). For one, the now-estranged couple celebrated their 10-year anniversary earlier this year. And two? The country singer had eyes watering at the 2026 Grammy Awards when he dedicated part of his winning speech to Bunnie XO and God.

“First of all, Jesus, I hear you, and I’m listening. Lord, I am listening. Lord. Second of all, I want to thank my beautiful wife. I would have never changed my life without you. I would’ve ended up dead or in jail. I would’ve killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus,” Jelly Roll said.

On days when he struggled with darkness, Jelly said that he found healing in faith, music and his wife’s support. Bunnie XO was seen in the audience, visibly emotional at her husband’s vulnerability and praise.

Whirlwind walk down the aisle and his loving GRAMMYs tribute aside. Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s relationship hasn’t always been glittering gold. In 2018, he reportedly admitted to being unfaithful, which led to a brief separation, counseling and eventual reconciliation. Between 2020-2024, the couple went on to openly discuss their marriage in the media, where he frequently described her as his “backbone.” Amid that, in 2023, they renewed their vows in the Las Vegas chapel they eloped in. In her memoir published in February of this year, Bunnie XO even revealed that they had been preparing to expand their family with twins. Apparently, the couple had secured “the sweetest woman ever” to be their surrogate as they underwent IVF. It’s unclear how far along they got in that journey.
