Jesse Williams’ Ex-Wife Seemingly Slams His Parenting, Says He Puts His Desires Above Their Kids’ Wellness

Aryn Drake-lee seemed fired up about parenting styles on Wednesday (September 14) . The mother of two took to Instagram to voice her concerns to a little over 7,500 followers. By Thursday, the post had spread on social platforms and folks began to think she was throwing shots. Her mark seemed to be ex-husband Jesse Williams who, according to TMZ, recently filed custody agreement papers.

“Is it good for the health and wellness of a 7yr and 8yr old to be taken out of school on a regular bass to fly cross country overnight on a red eye to be on the ground for two days? Is it reasonable for them to return dazed and confused and then be expected to pick right up and survive at school the rest of the week,” Aryn wrote. “I don’t think so! Neither do any of the parents who actually parent on a routine basis.”

Jesse And Aryn Agreed On Custody Modifications In February

The ex-couple share two children together, seven-year-old Maceo and eight-year-old Sadie. In February, a judge signed off on custody modifications for both parents.

Jesse and Aryn maintained shared legal custody. However, the judge denied Aryn’s request to reduce Jesse’s physical time with their children. Instead, the judge granted Jesse four consecutive days, including two weekend days, with Sadie and Maceo. His visits were to take place in New York given his Take Me Out Broadway appearance. Meanwhile, Aryn remained living in Los Angeles–meaning the kids would be flying back and forth. In the agreement, the judge banned Jesse from canceling and then undoing the cancellation.

In April, TMZ obtained documents that showed Jesse’s child support payments were reduced to $6,413 per month instead of $40,000.

Aryn’s Subliminal Shots Come After Jesse Filed Custody Docs

This week TMZ reported that Jesse went back to court over their custody arrangement. Documents show Jesse asked a judge to uphold their agreement from February, including the 4 visitation days.

The actor accused Aryn of refusing to let the kids visit their father in New York. Jesse is performing in a fall run of Take Me Out and requested his Sadie and Maceo visit for four days between October 7 and October 12 and during Thanksgiving break. He also asked the judge to maintain the custody agreement until January 2023.

In her post, Aryn seemingly accuses Jesse of expecting his kids to put him before themselves.

“There’s a name for the condition of an adult who expects their children to indulge, caregiver and service that adult’s desires at the children’s expense,” Aryn wrote. “#receiptsseason #IHaveStayedQuietForFarTooLong”

As of Thursday evening, Aryn has not published said receipts–just the one post lacking a direct @.
