Jim Starlin, The Creator Of Thanos, Says He Feels Violated After Donald Trump’s ‘Avengers’ Inspired Re-election Ad

On Tuesday, Donald Trump’s team tweeted out a video of himself as the Thanos from the Marvel film “Avengers: End Game.” Those familiar with the character and the film know that Thanos is not only the villain in the film, but he doesn’t win when it comes to the very ending of the film.

Jim Starlin, the comic book writer, and creator of Thanos spoke out about his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump being compared to Thanos.

He said to The Hollywood Reporter, “After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer. How sick is that? These are sad and strange times we are going through. Fortunately, all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end.”

The tweet came after it was announced that the House of Democrats introduced two new articles of impeachment against Trump.

The tweet was made from a verified Instagram account that claims to highlight the promises that were kept by Trump and says that the account is managed by Trump’s 2020 campaign.
