It looks like soon-to-be co-parents Joie Chavis and Trevon Diggs are back on their romantic tip! The development comes less than two weeks after Joie claimed on social media that their relationship had ended. In circulating footage of their baby shower, Joie and the NFL player shared a kiss in front of their guests.
The smooch, along with his lavish baby shower present to Chavis, called their split into question. However, neither has spoken on whether they’ve rekindled. Keep scrolling to see what the energy at their shower looked like!
The seemingly rekindled pair pulled up to their baby’s celebration in slightly matching ‘fits. Joie Chavis wore a bright pink, floor-length sundress with her HUGE pregnant belly poking through! She styled her hair in a high ponytail and side bangs. Meanwhile, the father-to-be wore a cropped, white graphic tee with jeans and a baseball cap.
As mentioned, Trevon Diggs surprised Chavis with a luxurious gift at the shower. Joie unwrapped it in front of their guests, revealing that he gifted her an AP (Audemars Piguet) watch.
Additional footage displayed some of the shower’s pastel-colored decor. A photo backdrop with a yellow neon sign that reads “Baby Diggs” was adorned with pink, tan, and orange balloons and color-matched flowers. Swipe below to peep the celebration.
For context, Joie is already a mom to two kids: 13-year-old Shai Moss with Bow Wow and five-year-old Hendrix with Future. Shai was also at the baby shower, posing with her mom in one of the event’s mirrors.Like Chavis, this will be Trevon’s third spin on the parenthood block. He has two sons, Aiden and Chosen.
As mentioned, Joie gagged fans earlier this month after revealing her relationship with Trevon had ended. At that point, it had been four months since Chavis revealed she was expected.
She spoke on splitting with Diggs in the comment section of a video showing Babylist’s baby event for her. The user questioned whether the expecting parents were “still together.”Chavis responded, “No, we aren’t. I think that’s obvious.”
At the time, Trevon didn’t comment on the breakup. They’ve been romantically linked since 2022.
