UPDATE: Judge Denies YouTuber Corey Pritchett Jr.’s Request To Reduce His $200K Bond

Roommates, it looks like YouTube Star Corey Pritchetts request for a lower bond in his kidnapping case has been denied.

What Happened During Corey Pritchett Jr.s Court Appearance

On Thursday, Corey Pritchett Jr. was brought before a judge in an orange Harris County jail jumpsuit and handcuffs. His attorney requested a bond reduction in Pritchett’s kidnapping case.

According to KPRC 2 Houston, Pritchetts financial affidavit reveals that the Youtuber requested a public defender. The YouTuber is reporting $0 in monthly income and no listed assets. Following the attorneys request, the judge decided to keep his bond set at $100,000 on each charge after prosecutors argued that Pritchett is a flight risk.

Pritchetts Receives The Following Bond Conditions

  • He must wear GPS monitoring due to being a flight risk
  • Contacting the two victims prohibited, even if they reach out
  • He must stay away from alcohol and any type of drugs prescriptions included.
  • He must surrender his passport and any foreign documents

During the probable cause hearing, prosecutors mention that Pritchett also has an outstanding warrant in Georgia. The details about the warrant have yet to be disclosed.

Previously, on January 18th, The Shade Room reported that Pritchett was booked into Harris County Jail on two counts of aggravated kidnapping, with a combined bond amount of $200,000. Corey was arrested for allegedly threatening to assault and murder two women.

Corey Pritchett 12-Part TikTok Series Addressing The Kidnapping Allegations

Before Corey Pritchett was arrested in Houston, the YouTuber released a 12-part series on his TikTok account to deny the kidnapping allegations. Throughout the series, he explained how he met the two young ladies, when things went wrong, and why he went to Qatar.

While TikTok users tuned in to hear hide side of the story, many left conflicting comments as they decided whether to believe him or not. Here’s what they had to say:
