Judge Rejects Tiger Woods' Ex Attempt To Throw Out NDA

UPDATE: Judge Rejects Tiger Woods’ Ex-Girlfriend’s Attempt To Throw Out Nondisclosure Agreement

A Florida judge rejected Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman’s attempt to throw out a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) after she filed sexual harassment claims against the golfer, according to the Associated Press.

Now, she must abide by the NDA as she resolves several lawsuits she’s filed against her former flame.

Tiger Woods’ Ex Erica Herman Must Abide By 2017 Nondisclosure Agreement, Judge Rules

Court filings from earlier this month allege that Herman, 39, was sexually harassed by Woods, 47, while he employed her at The Woods Jupiter.

However, Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger ultimately ruled that Herman must abide by the 2017 NDA she had previously signed.

The judge reportedly called Herman’s allegations against Woods “vague and threadbare.”

“Herman has had the opportunity (to) provide factual specificity for any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment; however, she has not done so,” the judge continued.

Arbitor Now Must Decide On Whether Erica Herman Will Receive New Hearing To Challenge NDA

The judge added that there was sufficient enough evidence to prove that the two had signed an NDA in 2017. She ruled that Herman resolve her lawsuits with Tiger through private arbitration, the AP reports.

Herman, however, said she didn’t recognize the NDA in question when Tiger’s attorney presented it as evidence in court in a May 9 hearing.

Judge Metzger then told Herman that denying signing the NDA would require her to order a separate hearing on the issue.

An arbitrator now has to decide on the matter due to the fact that Herman can’t recall if she signed it or not, according to the outlet.

Herman Sues For $30 Million Amidst Accusations Of Tiger Woods Locking Her Out Of Their Home

Herman is suing both Woods and the trust that owns his Florida mansion the former couple had previously shared.

As The Shade Room reported in March 2023, Herman claims in a one lawsuit that Woods owes her $30 million. She accuses Woods of reportedly locking her out of the home with the promise of a bogus Bahamas trip.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Herman and Woods lived at his $54 million Florida mansion for the duration of their relationship.

Erica claims they had an “oral tenancy agreement,” allowing her to live with him for at least five years after their breakup.

Another lawsuit filed in Oct. 2022, according to TMZ, claims a trust owned and created by Woods violated the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act. According to reports, Woods allegedly broke his and Herman’s supposed oral tenancy agreement.
