Roomies, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker may have called it quits on their marriage, but they’re proving that moving on doesn’t always mean moving apart. While the former couple continues to navigate life after divorce, they’re showing that keeping things cordial for the family remains a top priorityeven if a little shade sneaks into the mix every now and then.
Y’all! Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker recently reunited for a blended-family vacation in the Bahamas with their children. In videos shared to social media, the former couple appeared to be enjoying some downtime by the pool when Kandi spotted Todd reading ‘Daily Prayers for Men.’ Laughing, she joked that during their nearly 12-year marriage, he’d never picked up a prayer book, adding that he probably should’ve “started praying a long time ago.” Todd laughed off the jab, responding that the devotional was teaching him to “be kind and merciful,” while their son Ace jokingly applauded him. Kandi even admitted in the caption that she sometimes has “the urge to be petty.“
Despite the lighthearted exchange, the family appeared to enjoy the rest of their vacation together, even hopping on the viral jiu-jitsu trend set to Drake’s ‘Shabang.’ However, when one fan suggested the exes should get back together since they can vacation together, Kandi quickly shut down the idea. Replying in the comments, she wrote, “Nah… I am not healed. We’ll be getting along & then the convo goes left. doing good today tho,” making it clear that while the co-parenting relationship is thriving, a romantic reunion isn’t in the cards.
