Roomies, TikTok’s viral ‘Backup Dancer Challenge’ is reaching new levels, well at least for Yandy Smith and Karlie Redd. The ‘Love & Hip Hop’ stars linked up for the challenge and gave the internet a good kiii, but what really had fans cutting up was Yandy’s promise to Karlie if she did her big one as a backup dancer.
When Beyonc’s name gets thrown in the mix, you already know the mission’s going to be completed. That’s exactly what Karlie Redd did! As soon as Yandy Smith promised to hook her up with a Queen Bey feature if she killed her backup dancer moves, Karlie went all out. She ate, left no crumbs, and even dropped it low mid-performance. Let’s just say sis gave it everything she had. Yandy peeped too and couldn’t even hold up when she realized that Karlie was going HAM.
Listen, the internet did not let Karlie breathe for a second in The Shade Room’s comment section. Folks even came for Yandy, saying she could never get Beyonc Giselle Knowles-Carter on a Karlie track. Still, some Roomies gave her props, saying she understood the assignment and definitely put in work.

Yandy Smith isn’t the only one out here making big promises in the ‘Backup Dancer Challenge.’ Angela Simmons took a similar approach when she joined in on the challenge with her son, Sutton Jr. Although, Sutton delivered and tried to make his mom proud, Angela still didn’t let him stay home from school like she originally promised if he was backup dancer.
