Kel Mitchell Seemingly Responds To His Ex-Wife’s Claims That He Owes Her Money In Back Child Support & Spousal Support

Recently Kel Mitchell’s ex-wife took to social media to allege that he owes her money for back child support and spousal support. She also alleged that she spent some time behind bars because of his IRS tax debt. Now it looks like Kel has responded to her claims.

As we previously reported, Tyisha Hampton took to both TikTok and Instagram with her claims against her ex-husband. She made a TikTok video where she alleged that he owes her $1.2 million in back child support/spousal support. She claimed that he sold their home during their divorce, leaving her homeless, while he purchased a new home last year.

Tyisha also claimed that he has not seen their children for 10 years.

Early Friday, Kel posted a message to his Instagram account. He posted a photo of the baseball cap emoji, which stands for “cap.” That is a term used to say that someone is not being truthful. In the post, he shared Cardi B. and Offset’s song “Clout” as it played in the background.

He continued to say in his caption “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. (Proverbs 12:22) #teamJesus”

Following her initial video, Tyisha responded to those who carefully labeled her claims as “alleged” and a shared video of court documents that she referred to as her “receipts” and said that they have a trial.

As previously reported, Kel and Tyisha have two daughters together, Lyric and Allure.

Many of you may recognize Kel Mitchell from many shows and films throughout the years. He was a child star that was a castmate on the Nickelodeon hit show “All That.” He later starred in his own show “Kenan & Kel,” alongside Kenan Thompson, and went on to do films such as “Good Burger,” and many other projects.
