There was a reason why Kelly Ripa was so upset about Michael Strahan’s announcement that he would be leaving ‘Live with Kelly & Michael” for ‘Good Morning America,’ she was worried she might be out of a job.
According to TMZ, Kelly made it clear that she would return to the show if they guaranteed her show wasn’t going to get dropped. Rumors were swirling that ABC executives have had discussions about if they should add an extra hour to ‘GMA,’ which could end the era of “Live With Kelly,” and her potential replacement.
But it seems as though those discussions were simply just chitter chatter because Kelly has agreed to return to work. Sources also revealed that Kelly would be a lot happier if Michael would just leave already instead of sticking around for his scheduled exit later on in September. Apparently the two haven’t been quite fond of each other for two years, but do a great job of hiding it on T.V. I wonder with all this heightened attention will Kelly’s claws come at throwing shade on Tuesday.
