Kenneth Luis Shot & Killed By Police In Watts, Witnesses Claim He Was Unarmed

A man named #KennethLuis was killed after being shot and killed by a police officer in #Watts last night. Witnesses say that he was allegedly unarmed although police claim that he was armed.

According to reports, everything started when police became suspicious of Luis as he stood next to a parked car on Slater Avenue. The car was turned the wrong way and another man was in the driver’s seat. As the cops approached the men, Luis reportedly ran into a a housing development where a deputy shot him. He was hit at least one time and was transported to a local hospital.

Despite reports of the uncertainty of the man’s condition, we can confirm that he has died. A source close to the family tells us, “We were at the hospital for hours and they wouldn’t give us any information. They brung his father in to the station and had him in an interrogation room for hours, they didn’t mention he had passed until his dad demanded answers.”

The source also tells us that the hospital still has not shared with the family any details about what happened.
