Kerry Washington has ‘Scandal’ fans rooting for a real-life version of “Olitz” after her sweet birthday shoutouts for Tony Goldwyn. Years after the show wrapped, the Hollywood stars have continued to tease their obvious chemistry. Recently, Tony celebrated his 66th birthday, and Kerry didn’t miss the opportunity to send well-wishes to the “pretend love of [her] life.” As expected, fans are eating the moment UP, hoping for another round of Olivia Pope and Mr. President on-screen and, maybe one day, off-screen.

Kerry Washington Posts Shoutouts For Tony Goldwyn On His 66th Birthday

As mentioned, Tony Goldwyn welcomed his 66th chapter of life on Wednesday (May 20) and Kerry Washington celebrated his new era with multiple birthday shoutouts. On Instagram, she shared five throwback photos from what appears to be their time filming ‘Scandal.’ Many of the shots are silly and friendly.

Kerry captioned the post, “To the Itz in our beloved Olitz, Happy Birthday @tonygoldwyn!!!!!  P.S. maybe one day well take a normal picture togetherŸ˜‚Ÿ˜œŸ˜”In the comment section, Tony replied, “Who needs normal?? Love you KW!! ”

Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn reposted the same post on their Instagram Stories. He added three red heart emojis to his repost. Then, on Threads, Washington again dropped a shoutout with a slightly different caption and visual. She shared a video of her fake singing behind Tony while he gives her no reactions…at least for most of the clip. A little over halfway through, he breaks character and smiles. Her caption on the Threads post said:

Thank you for being my friend, and pretend love of my life, @tonygoldwyn  HAPPY BIRTHDAY ŸŽŠ”

Yes, Kerry & Tony Are Married To Other People In Real Life

While Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn’s chemistry appears undeniable, they each have real-life romances with other people. Washington has been married to former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha since 2013, but they keep their relationship and family life super private. They have two children together, a daughter and a son and Asomugha also has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Meanwhile, Goldwyn has been married to Jane Musky, a production designer, since 1987. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on April 18. Tony and Janehave two daughters together. In 2019, he said on the ‘TODAY’ show that Jane is “the most incredible human being” he knows. Adding, “…She is just a very salt of the earth person… I knew when I was 21 when I met her, I better hang on because I’ll never come across this again.”
