Whew, chileeee! The internet is going IN on Kevin Gates after he critiqued Savannah and LeBron James‘ relationship. The rapper is going viral for sharing his two cents about the couple’s dynamic in a video he posted on social media.
Okay, so BOOM! Kevin Gates dropped a video on Instagram where he’s on the phone with one of his homies. He said he’s been looking at couples and folks in the league and peeped “a few things people don’t notice.”
He then tells his friend he has no desire to “trade places with someone like LeBron James.” And guess what his reason is, y’all? He “doesn’t like the way Savannah James looks at LeBron,” but he does like the way “white women look at him.”
“You act like the warden of the jail, like you came here to police me. You not d****d out like these white women. I just couldn’t do it. It hurt me to see that,” Kevin said. “Man, you dive on the floor behind that n***a man.”
Kevin Gates straight up admitted he knows people are going to come for him over his comments about LeBron and Savannah James. But he claims he’s got nothing but love for the NBA baller and hates to see him going through that, especially during the playoffs. He said he thinks Savannah always has a look on her face like she’s thinking, “LeBron could be doing more.”
But in his eyes, he’s wondering what more LeBron could do.
At this time, neither LeBron nor Savannah have clapped back at Kevin Gates’ comments.
In the middle of throwing shade, Kevin Gates caught Brittany Renner’s reaction too. She didn’t show up in the video, but you could hear her laughing in the background as Kevin kept making comments about Savannah.
