During the early hours of Friday, October 2, Elijah Randolph returned to TikTok, sharing two clips for the public. In the first clip, Randolph explained that if he were in a “mental health crisis,” the last place he would come to is the internet. From there, Randolph explained that those who are genuinely in his life were aware of where he had been over the past few days. Ultimately, Randolph stressed that his statement about leaving social media was not about his life or well-being. Furthermore, he even noted that the public appears to feel “entitled” to his personal life.

Subsequently, his brother, Sammy, took to social media, revealing that he had contacted authorities after he and other relatives were unable to reach Randolph. Ultimately, he said, authorities planned to execute a warrant so Randolph’s apartment and job locations could both be fully searched. Furthermore, he noted that he didn’t think his brother was pulling a hoax. However, he learned that noises were coming from his brother’s apartment.

Then, on Friday, October 2, The Shade Room obtained footage of Sammy revealing that Randolph was safe. However, he seemed to suggest that more had occurred than he could publicly reveal.
