Khlo Kardashian is getting candid about what it takes to raise a family in her household. In the latest episode of her podcast, Khlo In Wonder Land, released Wednesday, July 23, the reality star spoke on hiring nannies to help with the workload that comes with having two children. On top of juggling her multi-million dollar empire and filming ‘The Kardashians,’ things can get hectic for the 41-year-old. But Koko sees nothing wrong with getting a helping hand. She didnt hold back either, addressing the haters who criticize parents for assistance with childcare. Heres what she said
Raising kids is no easy feat, and Khlo is unapologetic about having help. On her podcast, she called out the double standards around nannies versus other forms of childcare.
People that talk s— about nannies, we all have help in some capacity, she explained. You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, whoever. A babysitter.
She went IN, pointing out how society is quick to judge the term nanny but doesnt bat an eye at babysitter. Khlo believes that most people tend to require help when it comes to children. Their form of support may be a loved one or an in-law, which, to her, is the same thing as having a nanny.
For some reason, the term babysitter people find way less offensive than a nanny. I dont know why, she said. Were all blessed, and it takes a village to raise a family. I do not understand the shame that people give to other people for having people help them with their kids. There is no shame in that.
In the same episode, Khlo opened up about a tender moment with her daughter, True Thompson, who used to refer to her dad, Tristan Thompson, as her moms husband. The former couple split for good in 2021 and have been co-parenting ever since. But when True made the comment, thinking her parents were a married couple, Khlo admitted she was caught off guard.
I didnt want to say, No, hes not [my husband]. I didnt know what to do, she shared. After consulting her therapist, Khlo learned its just how True, at her young age, makes sense of her parents relationship. She said, [True is] so young. This is how they associate things. If it gets to be a problem, well talk about it, but right now, shell figure it out or ask more questions, she recalled.
The reality stars approach is all about letting True process things naturally.
Khlos been making headlines lately, and not just for her thoughts on parenting. A few weeks ago, she had the internet gagging after responding to Dr. Jonny Betteridges viral TikTok speculating about her cosmetic procedures. Khlo decided to hop in the comments, admitting to a nose job and using fillers over the years. But she laughed off rumors of drastic surgeries, suggesting her face hasnt changed that much. In 2025, there are many other things we can do before surgery, she said, shouting out salmon sperm facials, collagen baby threads, and Sculptra.
She also credited her 80-pound weight loss for her transformation, alongside Botox and a more natural vibe these days. Khlos all about self-love, encouraging fans to do what makes them happy without judgment. When its time, and if I choose to, I know some great doctors, she teased. Sis said she’s out here living her truth when it comes to parenting, and were loving the confidence! See the TikTok below…
