Chile! Roommates, get into this Thanksgiving tea! Khlo Kardashian made TIME for a social media user who recently compared how she spent the holidays to Tokyo Toni.
If you’re late to the update, Tokyo is the grandmother of Khlo’s niece, Dream Kardashian — daughter of Rob Kardashian and Angela White.
On Nov. 29, the Kardashian shared a photo dump on Instagram of her holiday gathering. The photos included her kids, True and Tatum, her mother, Kris Jenner, and her cousin, Cici Bussey. Also, the flicks showed her Thanksgiving table setting for 10+ people and early Christmas decor. Koko kept her caption simple, writing, “Thankful.”
While some of the comments on the post praised the lovely gathering, others had a different vibe. Take IG user @linicar_ for example, who slid in with a random Khlo versus Tokyo Toni comment.“Y’all over here enjoying while Dream’s grandma is feeding the homeless,” @linicar_ wrote, adding a teardrop emoticon.
For context, over the Thanksgiving weekend, a video surfaced of Tokyo Toni feeding the less fortunate. Khlo quickly clocked the shade and clapped back with a paragraph in her comment section.
“@linicar_ and I am not knocking what anyone else chooses to show or keep to themselves. But personally, when people fall on hard times — I don’t feel it’s right to publicize that for my own personal pat on the back.”
To be clear, neither the IG user nor Khlo mentioned Tokyo Toni by name. But Kardashian continued to explain her thought process. She said there’s a difference between highlighting a charity or organization and the people receiving the help.
“…But I don’t feel comfortable highlighting people when they’re at a low point in their lives. To each their own, I’m only speaking for myself,” Khlo Kardashian shared. Swipe below to see Khlo’s comment and the circulating video of Tokyo Toni.
While Khlo quickly clocked the troll over Tokyo Toni, she has yet to react to Lamar Odom’s Christmas surprise. The former NBA player gagged social media users after purchasing a sexy dollmodeled after his ex-wife.
Additionally, Khlo has not shared any thoughts about Angela White’s viral video of Dream saying she’s the only Kardashian kid.
