On Monday, Khlo Kardashian publicly wished Tristan Thompsona happy 32nd birthday. But then, she turned off the comment section on the Instagram shoutout.
Her message included props for Tristan’s abilities as a father and her birthday wish for him.
“Happy Birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way you show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles,” Khlo wrote.
The Good American co-founder included photos of Tristan with their two children, Dream and their toddler son. The former pair haven’t revealed their infant’s name yet, but Khlo shared a few pictures of Tristan and their son in the birthday post.
Though she revealed their child’s face, in other pictures, an infant’s face is blocked by a black heart. It’s unclear if the infant with the exposed face and the infant with the covered face are the same children. Kardashian also included photos of Tristan’s eldest son with Jordan Craig and the athlete’s disabled brother, Amari.
In the post, Khlo included a photo of Thompson and his mother–whom he lost to a heart attack in early January. Khlo was reportedly at Tristan’s side following Andrea’s death, including at the funeral. She broke her silence with a loving tribute to her children’s grandmother weeks after the funeral.
In the rest of the birthday shoutout, Khlo shared her birthday wish for Tristan.
“My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy Birthday baby daddy.”
As previously reported, Tristan welcomed a son, Theo, with Maralee Nicholsin December 2021. The child’s arrival shocked the Kardashian–who learned of the news days after she and Tristan implanted an embryo in a surrogate.
Maralee has yet to show their one-year-old’s face–only sharing photos from the side, behind him, and in a hooded outfit. Thompson reportedly agreed to pay Maralee $9,500 in monthly child support in December and partially cover her legal fees. Additionally, Thompson was to be listed on Theo’s birth certificate.
When the news came out, TMZreported that Maralee would retain sole custody of Theo with a visitation schedule for Tristan. So it’s hard to tell if the baby with the obscured face in Khlo’s post is Theo.
