Kimora Lee is speaking out about her daughter’s internet-breaking beachside photos with a 65-year-old man. Aoki Lee had social media users gagged In April after photos of her and Vittorio Assaf lip-locking in St. Barts.
The romance she doubled down on didn’t make it off the island and now Kimora Lee is sharing how her daughter’s brief fling impacted her.
Speaking in a street interview with TMZ, Kimora said she doesn’t think her daughter had “anything.” Aoki’s getaway with Vittorio was a moment and nothing more, her mother says.
Meanwhile, Aoki told her social media followers at the time that Vittorio was, more than nothing, her “baby,” her boyfriend.
“I don’t think she had anything. I think that was just a… she’s a young pretty girl, and I think we don’t think that the toads that we might kiss are gonna be broadcasted. And I personally feel a little bit like she was set up, which is why I try to teach the girls,” Lee said.
Kimora says she “probably” felt a mixture of embarrassment and unfazed.
“I probably was a little bit embarrassed but you know me I’m definitely like it is what it is hunnay, come on home. Let’s go, mama’s got your back. He ain’t coming.”
When the interviewer asked if Kimora or Russell Simmons had increased Aoki’s allowance, Lee quickly cut her off. Kimora shot back, “Dad is nonexistent,” and clarified that she’s the parent who sponsors Aoki’s allowance. To be clear, mama still has not increased.
The question about the allowance is a reference to a viral resurfaced video of Aoki telling Russell she’ll get a sugar daddy if he doesn’t increase her allowance.
Simmons told TMZ in April, that he had a heads-up about Aoki’s frolicking with the 65-year-old. He also revealed online that he calls his daughters Aoki Lee and Ming Lee “daily,” which neither of them has confirmed.
Aoki also has not publicly responded to Kimora’s comments.
Kimora Lee also spoke of recently spending time with Diddy’s two daughters, D’Lila and Jessie. She said the twins are like “big sisters” to her younger sons, Kenzo, Gary and Wolfe.
However, Kimora cut the conversation after the pap asked her whether she believed there was any truth to the sexual assault allegations against Diddy.
“No, I don’t know all that, I don’t know all that. That’s a lot. I know my kids,” Lee said.
