Aww, roommates! Congrats are in order for KJ Smith and Skyh Black as they have welcomed their first child together. The couple exclusively shared the news and photos of their newborn with PEOPLE, and it’s a full-on cuteness overload!
Skyh Black and KJ Smith have stepped into their new parent era! The actors told PEOPLE that they welcomed their first child, a baby girl on Oct. 4 at 5 p.m., and she came through weighing 5 lbs, 11 oz. They also shared her adorable name Pryde JaNea Black. Fans were able to get a glimpse of Pryde, as they shared the first photos of her with the outlet. The pics see Pryde looking so adorable and glamorous in a gold silk pajama set and a white bow around her head. Other pics show her twinning with her mommy in a white tulle dress, while Skyh poses in all black.
While chatting with PEOPLE, KJ kept it real about life as a new mom. She admitted that she still can’t believe her daughter is here. “I wake up every day and I’m just like, ‘I have a little being that is here. She looks like a little angel. She’s so precious,” Smith said. Skyh also shared his thoughts about being a new dad, agreeing with KJ that their baby girl is just too cute.“My gym workouts are a little bit longer because I’m staring at her videos that her mom sends me. She’s perfect, man. She’s so perfect,” Skyh said.
After TSR dropped the photos of Pryde and her parents, the comment section lit up with heart-eye emojis. Folks couldn’t stop gushing over how adorable her name is too.
