During Super Bowl weekend Kodak Black caused some concern after it was revealed that he was one of three people that had been shot outside of a Justin Bieber event following an altercation. Now Kodak is opening up about the moment in an all-new interview with The Breakfast Club.
During the interview, Kodak was asked how his leg was doing and he said that he was alright and that he was given a walker, but he doesn’t really use it. He continued to speak about the moment and said, “It wasn’t nothing like…nobody after us, or we was after them.”
Charlamagne then asked Kodak about a comment he made where he said that someone “finally” had gotten to him, in reference to the shooting.
Kodak explained, “I’m the type of n***a, nobody gonna make me feel bad, man. I’m going to show you my scars, I’ma highlight them myself. So you won’t be like, ‘Oh haha, you got popped.’ I’m laughing at my damn self, I’ll be like, ‘Damn them n***as shot me real good.’”
As we previously reported, at the time of the shooting, law enforcement sources spoke and said, “The 24-year-old Florida rapper and two other victims, 19 and 60 years old, were transported to a local hospital and are expected to recover from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. One additional victim was hurt in the scuffle.”
During the interview, Kodak Black also spoke about the child that he has on the way. Last month he welcomed a baby girl, and it was revealed that he has another child on the way. The interview took place prior to the gender reveal of his unborn child, and he expressed that he wanted another son.
Kodak says that he always doesn’t see eye to eye with the mother of his son. However, he told the mother of his unborn child that if their baby is a boy, he would be her boyfriend.

However, it turns out that he has another baby girl on the way. At the gender reveal he gifted the mother of his child a Birkin bag.
