Chile, Kountry Wayne has the internet talking after making a move in his love life that had the Roomies bringing up his ex, Emily B. And while folks had questions about whats been going on behind the scenes, Wayne is now clearing the air himself and sharing a little more about where his heart stands these days.
If yall recall, Kountry Wayne and Emily B first sparked dating rumors in early 2025. In June of that year, Emily shared a video of the comedian dancing to Bobby Vs ‘Slow Down,’ and the two were also spotted looking boo’d up at the club last October. However, this October, Wayne stepped out with Yaya Sandoval, an influencer and entrepreneur who shares a son with former NFL player DeSean Jackson. After Roomies flooded The Shade Rooms comments asking about Emily, TSR spoke exclusively with Wayne for clarity on their split. Keeping it brief, the comedian told TSR, No reason. Mutual decision.

But thats not all, Roomies! When asked how he knew he was ready to hard-launch his relationship with Yaya, Wayne didnt hold back, saying, I popped out with her because I know Im going to marry her. And when asked how he knew she was the one, he compared the feeling to when God led him to pursue comedy, explaining that he knew things would work out when he met her. Wayne added that he didnt feel the need to date Yaya just to figure out whether she was the one because he already knew.
“Because when I met her, I felt the same feeling I felt when God led me to do comedy. I knew it was going to work and when I met her I didnt want to date her to she if she was the one, I knew she was,” he claimed.
The comedian also shared what stood out to him about Yaya, saying, She has that street smart mentality that I love, but at the same time shes a sweetheart and to top it off, SHES A GREAT MOTHER. I was attracted to that the most, and yes, Ive been looking at rings. Okayyyy, Wayne! Sounds like hes already thinking about taking things to the next level!
