Kourtney Kardashian Reportedly Encouraged Scott Disick To Enter Rehab After Noticing His Recent Struggles

#Roommates, it appears that despite their relationship ending a few years ago, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick still have a very close bond that goes beyond co-parenting. According to recent reports, Kourtney was instrumental in convincing Scott to voluntarily check into a rehab facility after noticing that he had been struggling.

Many fans were surprised to learn the news that “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Scott Disick was in a local rehab facility—after seemingly conquering his previous drug and alcohol issues. However, @USWeekly reports that the main reason that Scott willingly decided to get treatment is because his ex (and mother of his three children) Kourtney Kardashian encouraged him to seek treatment after noticing changes in his behavior.

An inside source reveals that “Kourtney encouraged Scott to go to rehab and specifically APN Lodge because she saw he was struggling.” He reportedly started using drugs and alcohol again as a result of never truly dealing with the loss of both his parents in October 2013 and January 2014. Scott’s lawyer, Marty Singer, confirmed that his stint at the All Points North Rehabilitation Center in Colorado was short-lived after a photo of him inside was leaked to media outlets.

Singer had this to say regarding Scott’s privacy being invaded:

“Shockingly as a result of the HIPAA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”

Meanwhile, the President and CEO of APN, Noah Nordheimer, expressed his regret at the incident:

“[I am] sickened by any publication who would report on an individual’s life struggles without their consent.”

The inside source also explained Scott’s mental health had been challenged recently, saying “Scott’s breakup and past issues with Kourtney and his parents’ deaths have deeply affected him,” the insider added. “Although it didn’t always show up in a negative way, these are things he’s constantly had to battle and live with that don’t go away overnight.”
