Krispy Kreme Is Giving Away Free Donuts To Everyone With A COVID-19 Vaccine Card

Conversations about COVID-19 vaccines have been buzzing in the media as the Biden administration races to keep their promise of 100 million shots within President Biden’s first 100 days. Krispy Kreme has officially joined the chat on vaccines. On Monday, the doughnut company shared a press release offering a free, glazed donut to anyone with proof of vaccination.

According to the release, starting today, guests can receive the freebie at any shop in the U.S. at “anytime, any day, even every day” all year long. Anyone who has received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or one or both of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine qualifies.

Krispy Kreme also hopes to encourage vaccines among their employees by offering up to four hours of paid time off to receive the vaccine.

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer.

To show support for healthcare workers and volunteers, Krispy Kreme will be delivering free donuts to vaccination centers around the country within the next few weeks.

The free treats don’t stop there! Krispy Kreme will also launch a new campaign called “Be Sweet Weekends.” When guests purchase a dozen donuts, the shop will offer the option to purchase an additional dozen for just one dollar. Their goal is to “encourage everyone to share joy and take care of each other.”
