Larenz Tate & Nia Long Link Up At “Remembering Love Jones” Event At The American Black Film Festival
Over the weekend, footage was shared from the official Instagram account of the American Black Film Festival. In the clip, Tate and Long thanked the cheering crowd, seemingly as a discussion and quick karaoke session around the film ended.
Furthermore, Long subsequently took to her Instagram account to share apparent footage of her and Tate entering the event. The pair strolled into a building, arm in arm, as they smiled at one another while in conversation. Tate even showed his chivalry by holding the door open for Long.

Before Nia Long Linked Up With Larenz Tate At The “Remembering Love Jones” Event At The American Black Film Festival, Her Former Romance Sparked Chatter
Before Nia Long’s recent appearance with Larenz Tate at the “Remembering Love Jones” event, her former romance with Ime Udoka was sparking chatter. As The Shade Room previously reported, in January 2024, Al Reynolds turned heads after sharing his thoughts on Long’s 13-year romance with Udoka and their decision to go their separate ways due to his infidelity.
At the time, Reynolds noted that Udoka was ordered to pay Long $32,000 in monthly child support. Additionally, he said that if he were Long, he “wouldve stayed there and ate [his] food.”
“This isnt the first time this man has cheated on her, and I promise you if theyd stayed together, it wouldnt be the last,” he said in part, going on to share why he believed Long could’ve made “better decisions” in their split.
