Roommates, the case between Chris Brown and one of the women accusing him of rape is getting interesting! If you recall, the woman accused Chris of raping her on a yacht near Diddy’s home in December 2020 and filed a $20 million lawsuit against him. However, this new information may jeopardize her case. Unfortunately, it looks like she will have to seek new legal counsel. According to TMZ, her lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, will no longer offer her services.
TMZ reports that Ariel will no longer be representing the woman after Chris shared text messages and voice notes that Ariel wasn’t informed of. As we reported yesterday, Chris fired back at the accuser and shared the messages from the woman on Instagram. In the messages, the woman told Chris, “You were honestly the best **** I’ve had. I just want it again. Why are you playing with meeee lol.”
The woman didn’t stop there. She proceeded to send voice notes, “You’re giving me mixed signals. You’re like reading my messages and stuff, and you haven’t blocked me yet, so I’m guessing you don’t hate me. I just wanna see you again. I mean just answer the phone. You just hung up. Just let me know. Like if you want me to leave you alone, I will, but I really just wanna f**k with you again.”
Ariel confirms that her former client sent Chris the messages, and due to that, she’s withdrawing from the case. Although Ariel isn’t representing the woman, that hasn’t stopped Miami Beach Police Department from investigating the case. They have also received the messages between the woman and Chris. Chris hasn’t spoken out about the news about his accuser being dropped. Roomies, we’ll keep you posted if he does!
