Lebron James Salutes Lisa Leslie & Slams Gayle King Following Controversial Kobe Bryant Interview—“We Are Our Own Worst Enemies”

#Roommates, many fans are still outraged at Gayle King’s questions about Kobe Bryant during a recent interview with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie. Now, Lebron James has just entered the chat and gave his opinion on things.

As we previously reported, on the most recent episode of “CBS This Morning,” Gayle King was in the middle of interviewing Lisa Leslie when she totally blindsided her by asking her to comment on his sexual assault allegations from back in 2003.

However, Lisa beautifully responded to the rapid fire questions by discussing about how great of a person Kobe was:

“Even if there’s a few times that we’ve been at a club at the same time, Kobe’s not the kind of guy, never been, like, ‘Lis, go get that girl, or tell her, or send her this.’ I have other NBA friends that are like that. Kobe, he was never like that.”

Since then, Gayle has shifted the blame for the tacky line of questioning to CBS and claimed that the interview that aired was edited in an unfavorable way to focus on the questions about Kobe. Her comments didn’t change anyone’s opinions—and then Lebron James decided to speak up about it.

Posting to Twitter, Lebron praised Lisa and dragged Gayle in a few brief sentences:

“Protect @LisaLeslie at all cost! You’re a real Superhero!! Sorry you had to go through that s*%#!!! We are our own worse enemies! #Mamba4Life”

Lebron James wasn’t the only celebrity to drag Gayle King, as 50 Cent and most notably Snoop Dogg, also did the same.

Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
