Awww! Roomies, it looks like LightSkinKeisha and Coca Vango are finally going to get their dream wedding!
On Friday, Keisha uploaded a video on Instagram of Coca Vango proposing to her for the second time.
Keshia and Coca first got engaged in January 2022. However, as TSR previously reported, the ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ star revealed to PEOPLE that they secretly married in January 2024.
Well, now LightSkinKeisha and Coca Vango will finally have the wedding of their dreams. In the Instagram video, Keisha shared, Coca kneels and proposes to her. The couple stands before a stunning waterfront sunset, surrounded by red heart balloons. Coca then says, “Will you marry me next summer?”Keisha in disbelief, responds by nodding her head and then saying, “YES.”
In the clip’s caption, Keisha shared that she and Coca married in a courthouse to tie the knot before their son was born. The rapper expressed her excitement about marrying her best friend and revealed that their wedding will take place in summer 2025.
“To my husband, I will marry you a millionnnn times if I can because this type of love we have is rare and i always say I feel like Im living in a fairytale. I love how we continue to fall in love with each other, we always keep it fresh, and we are truly best friends at heart. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, LightSkinKeisha and Coca Vango shared that they have been together for six years.
In September 2023, they announced that they were expecting their first child together, marking a new chapter in their love story. Then in February, the couple confirmed that their son arrived in January. Just a few weeks ago, the duo shared the first photos of their son Amin on Instagram on his 7-month birthday.
While speaking with PEOPLE, Keisha formerly known as Samantha Deshaun told the outlet that she and Vango were obsessed with their baby boy.
We are incredibly obsessed with our son; hes everything we prayed for. My pregnancy went smoothly, thanks to my husbands support for an easy, stress-free experience. It went by quickly, and now hes here, live and direct.
The ‘Good Morning’ musician went on to explain that her and Coca decided to get married before Amin’s arrival.
After six years together, weve built not only a friendship and a solid relationship but also our little family. Were soulmates, so marrying my best friend felt right. The transition into family life has been smooth because we were already like family. Being together for so long, having a child was the cherry on top Keisha said.
