Lil Duval Says His T-Mobile Reception Saved Him From Remaining Lost At Sea

By now, folks should be familiar with Lil Duval cuttin’ up on Twitter! He drops off jokes, culture commentary, experiences with his ol lady and sometimes even “now what” type of stories. But recently he shared what would be a real life nightmare for plenty of people, (including the person bringing you these words!) The comedian told Twitter followers his T-mobile reception saved him from being lost at sea.

“Just sitting here thinking how I was really lost at sea last week, I’d still be floating in the ocean somewhere had it not been for my T-mobile reception,” Lil Duval tweeted on March 11.

Where Was Lil Duval Going?

He also shared an 18-second video. In the clip, viewers can see a boat pulling a jet ski behind it. While we don’t know Lil Duval’s exact location, he identified the involved authorities as Bahamian.

“Man I got stuck out here on the ocean man,” Duval said while off-camera. “Thank God for the Bahamian police and these people and their boat looking out for me, came and rescued me. I would’ve been f**cked for real.

A DJ by the Twitter handle @DjFred_Eddison responded to the comedian’s story saying, “I don’t understand why you were that far out.”

“I was riding to my little small island,” Lil Duval responded. “I do it all the time.”

Lil Duval didn’t offer any further details on how exactly he got lost. By the towing seen in the video, we might assume there was a mechanical malfunction with the jet ski.

T-Mobile Gets Their Props

When another user suggested he shouldn’t give T-Mobile free promo, Duval disagreed. He wrote, “got to it saved my life.”

Lil Duval also retweeted a GIF suggesting T-Mobile should be feeling mighty about the free brag.

And folks still had questions about his distance in the big blue sea. Twitter user @DannyDTaken asked, “Why you so far out on the ppl jet ski??”

“You’d have to live out there to understand,” Duval responded.

And for the people with this continued critique, Duval dropped a clip showing why he was out there on that ski! The 29-second video begins with a medium shot of Duval on a jet ski, then the video slowly pans out to show a crystal clear blue ocean.

“You ain’t really living if you ain’t almost died a few times in yo lifetime,” Duval later tweeted. “I’m on my 7th.”
