#Roommates, it may have been several years since Usher teamed up with Lil Jon and Ludacris for some fire musicbut that doesnt mean it cant happen again. In a recent social media post, Lil Jon revealed that new music may be on the way from the trio.
There are some songs that as soon as you hear them you cant stop yourself from singing and dancing along. Thats exactly the case with Yeah! and Lovers and Friends by Usher featuring both Lil Jon and Ludacris. Well, if youve be longing for the guys to team up again and bring us some new heat, you might be in luck based on a recent response to a fan from Lil Jon on social media.
Earlier this week, a fan on Twitter posted the following question, Are Usher, John and Luda ever going to do it again? Unsurprisingly, the tweet blew up and Lil Jon caught wind of it and finally gave the response that many of us were hoping for.
He responded with this very simple and straight-to-the-point answer:
WE DID ALREADY. COMING ON @Usher NEW ALBUM
In case you need a refresher on just how successful both of their prior collabs were, here you go. Back in 2004 when Usher released his insanely successful, Grammy-winning album Confessions, Yeah! was the first single and it spent a record 12 weeks at number one on the Billboard charts. The following year, they all teamed up again for Lovers and Friends, which spent 3 weeks at the top spot.
Currently, Ushers upcoming album doesnt have a release date yet, but we are definitely anticipating for it to drop.
