As reported by @Forbes, Lil Nas X just made history as he is officially the first gay, black man to land on the “highest paid country acts” list in the outlets annual rankings.
Due to “Old Town Road” spending a record 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard singles chart, Lil Nas X, 20, debuted on the Forbes list of top-earning country acts of 2019 with an estimated pretax income of $14 million. This brings him at the number 18 spot on the list propelled by the massive 1.8 billion spins of the song despite being removed from the Billboard country charts. That removal actually helped the song gain an even broader audience, making it a phenomenon.
