Roommates, earlier this month many were up in arms when LisaRaye made comments stating that the Kardashian family is responsible for the overly curvy body type that is widely celebrated in the mainstream these days. Well, she is doubling down on her initial statements and basically wants everyone to know that “she said what she said.”
As we previously reported, during an episode of Fox Soul with Vivica Fox, Syleena Johnson and Claudia Jordan, LisaRaye stated that she thinks “The Kardashians have single handedly changed the woman’s body shape that’s acceptable now.”
She continued, adding that because of their heavily idolized and duplicated body types, many women now prefer to have “a small waist, all this a**, which looks like the ankle can’t even hold up all of that.” LisaRaye added even more spice to her comments when she said that despite their bodies being ideals for millions of women and girls, she has no desire to have her body look that way just because it’s trendy.
She also suggested that the Kardashians are influencing the other generations that come after them to think that those are the kinds of bodies they need to have. Well, after ticking a lot of people off with her comments, she recently offered even more explanation about what she said.
LisaRaye wanted to make it clear that “I said the comment and I meant it. I wasn’t being good, bad or indifferent.” Welp, there you have it.
