An upcoming ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ scene shows Yandy Smith admitting to having an “emotional connection” with a someone outside of her marriage to Mendeecees.
On Tuesday, August 12, the official account for the show shared a clip showing an upcoming episode. Furthermore, in the clip, Smith speaks about feeling “beyond crushed” over someone who was “the closest thing” she’s “had to a brother.” As she went on, she explained that she and the individual got into a disagreement about Mendeecees.
“I felt he was too involved in the things that were happening,” she added during the episode’s confessional scene, noting that the person had since taken to social media, airing her out.
As the clip continued, Smith told cameras that if her and Mendeecees’ house or marriage comes down, it will be because they tore it down “brick by brick.” Additionally, the clip then cuts to Smith and Mendeecees’ conversation at a restaurant. Mendeecees explained to his wife that they’re “hurting each other” and their kids with their behavior.
“Mendeecees feels like there’s truth to what my friend is saying,” Smith told cameras before confirming that she’s “definitely had an emotional connection” with “someone” other than Mendeecees. “And we had to deal with it.”
To note, the friend Yandy Smith appears to be speaking of is Bryant Jamison, an NYC hairstylist. Per Onsite!, Jamison recently took to social media, blasting Smith for allegedly being a cheater. To note, the outlet also identified the man Smith allegedly had a relationship with as Michael Adusei.
Social media users immediately reacted to the news of Yandy Smith’s alleged “emotional connection” in The Shade Room’s comment section.
While Instagram user @iamjulito added, “A woman saying they had an emotional connection to someone else is the CLOSEST you gonna get to them admitting they cheated lmao u just gotta take what you can get.”
The upcoming ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ scene of Yandy Smith admitting to her “emotional connection” outside of her marriage to Mendeecees arrives on the heels of Mendeecees being the subject of his own infidelity chatter. As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this week, Sierra Gates took to social media to share that she’s seen Mendeecees out with a woman named “Angie” on multiple occasions. Additionally, she alleged that she even took photos of the pair’s interactions.
“but tonight you really tried itlike how you gon want to be a cheater and be scared that your husband gon find out. You just caused so much commotion tonight. Somebody couldve ended up shotin jail. It was so much,” Gates said in a clip posted to social media, seemingly talking to “Angie” directly.
Subsequently, Gates returned to social media, stating that she spoke to Smith about what went down, adding that her public statements were because she was “triggered.” Furthermore, Gates did not share Smith’s reaction to the information but ended things off, speaking about her focus on herself.
