#Roommates, it looks like #LYFT is doing it for the culture! As we continue to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth, Lyft is also celebrating by offering free rides (up to $10) to a local cultural site.
An official statement from the car service said: “At Lyft, we believe in recognizing, celebrating, and supporting the contributions of incredible Black women and men throughout history and within our communities today. That is why during the month of February, we’ll be providing one free ride up to $10* to Black history museums, memorials, and relevant cultural sites, as well as to Black-owned businesses throughout various communities in which we serve.”
The offer covers a few different cities, 35 to be exact. So if you’re looking to learn a little more about Black history, spend some money at a black-owned business or share some memories are a memorial, Lyft is the way to go #Roommates!
