Roommates, would y’all have been here for Machine Gun Kelly popping up in the ‘Sinners’ movie? Turns out, the rapper almost auditioned for Ryan Coogler’s hit film, but he ended up curving the role because of one major detail that just didn’t sit right with him.
Machine Gun Kelly pulled up to the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ recently and spilled tea about almost joining the ‘Sinners’ cast. Roomies, y’all already know Ryan Coogler’s hit with Michael B. Jordan ran up the box office this year. MGK said he nearly played one of the vampires but turned it down real quick. Why? Because the script had the vampires using the n-word and he wasn’t rocking with that at all. “Yeah, but in the auditions he has to say n-word and I just wouldn’t do it,”Machine Gun Kelly explained.
After TSR dropped the clip, Roomies in the comment section said MGK definitely passed the vibe check. Folks gave him props for keeping it respectful and sticking to his morals, while others joked that he should’ve known better from the jump anyway.

Social media might have their thoughts on MGK ditching the ‘Sinners’ role, but he was honestly busy with daddy duties prior to the movie’s premiere anyway. The musician was prepping to welcome his first baby with Megan Fox, who arrived on March 27, according to PEOPLE. Later, Machine Gun Kelly hopped on Instagram to reveal their baby girl’s name Saga Blade Fox-Baker. In addition to his newborn baby girl with Megan, MGK also shares a daughter from a previous relationship, Casie Colson Baker.
