Now most would assume that when a wedding is called off the woman should return her engagement ring, especially if it cost a cool $10 million. Well #Roommates its no secret that Mariah Carey and her ex fianc James Packer pulled the plug on their wedding but Mimi has no plans on returning the lavish engagement ring.
Mariah appeared on Watch What Happens Live Sunday with Andy Cohen and opened up about why shes keeping it.
When asked by Andy if she planned to give it back, Carey said, Why?
This is stuff that happened in my life, for real. I just dont want to put anybody in the position where they have to look at something they dont want to see. And its hurtful. These are actually, like, real moments and so it was something that I really[sigh] how do you talk about it?
She continued,
its so fresh. It kind of just happened.
But added,
I believe that if it was supposed to happen, it wouldve happen.
