Roomies, Mariah The Scientist recently got emotional while addressing those who said she’d “never see” Young Thug “again.” However, the singer also shared a few spicy for those some doubters.
According to SeatGeek, Mariah is currently on tour alongside Latto and performed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, October 31. Subsequently, footage surfaced of the singer speaking on stage following Thug’s sentencing.
“I want to thank you for life, love. I want to thank you for our family and our friends,” Mariah prayed. “I want to thank you for Jeff and our relationship. I want to thank you for… keeping us safe… everyday.”
At that point, Mariah shared a deep sigh, seemingly becoming emotional.
“This has really been a long time coming,” she said. “And it has been really hard. But I’m really appreciatve for you who have shown love for me and supported me there was people who was telling me I would never see him again. There was people who laughing at me and laughing at the situation and they were [inaudible]!”
Before concluding her message, Mariah shared some spicy words for all those who “doubted” her and said Thug “was never coming home.”
“What you gon’ say now?” she said.

Mariah isn’t the only loved one of Thug’s to react to his sentence. As The Shade Room previously reported, Thug’s dad, Jeffrey Williams Sr, shared his thoughts on his son’s sentence most specifically speaking about Thug’s 10-year ban from the Atlanta area.
While speaking with 11Alive, Williams Sr. shared that he is “totally against” his son not being able to visit the area. Furthermore, Williams Sr. noted that the metro Atlanta area is where Thug “is from” and also the area in which he resides.
During the interview, Williams Sr. also shared a few remarks about the district attorney on Thug’s case.
