Marilyn Monroe’s JFK Birthday Dress Sells For $4.8 Million

We all love expensive clothes but whats your price limit? Marilyn Monroes dress she wore to sing Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy was sold for $4.8 million dollars!

According to TIME, the dress was sold at an auction in Los Angeles to Ripleys Believe It Or Not museum chain. The one of a kind Jean Louis dress has over 2,500 hand stitched crystals on a flesh colored bodice.

Edward Meyer, vice-president of Ripleys Believe It Or Not, is happy about their purchase.

We believe this is the most iconic piece of pop culture that there is.
