Marissa Da’Nae has shared a strong message after appearing alongside NLE Choppato celebrate their son Chozen‘s 2nd birthday.
Earlier this week, Marissa Da’Nae took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos from Chozen’s 2nd birthday celebration. Furthermore, the initial photo showed Da’Nae and Chozen smiling alongside his sister, Clover, and Clover’s mom, Mariah, in an apparent arcade.
Additionally, photos showed the group snapping shots at various locations throughout the event, and even showed NLE posing alongside Da’Nae and Chozen for a family photo. To note, in the caption of the post, Da’Nae noted that seeing her son smile was the “highlight” of her day.

Social media users stepped into The Shade Room Teens’ comment section to react to the coparent’s link-up for Chozen’s 2nd birthday.
Then, on Monday, August 18, Da’Nae returned to Instagram, sharing some additional words about the event and her appearance alongside NLE.
“Regarding my son, I’ll do what I can to make sure he could never say I didn’t try or didn’t give the opportunity. No matter how uncomfortable I am, how I feel. Whatever I do, be behind my son. Because he deserves that. I ain’t praising s**t, pretending s**t. None. The proof is in the pudding what be going on, but in the moment of time, my son deserved that moment. So please kiss my ass. Respectfully. Anybody who was there, know I was fighting myself all day. Don’t let a picture define s**t cause that don’t define none but a mf showed up for his son,” she wrote.
To note, Da’Nae’s recent revelation arrives after NLE issued a public apology to her in February. As The Shade Room previously reported, NLE apologized for how he “handled” her heart during their romance. To note, the pair reportedly experienced a miscarriage before giving birth to Chozen, and Da’Nae publicly called NLE out for allegedly making her tattoo his face on her body. Additionally, NLE was notably absent from her baby shower for Chozen, per The Shade Room.
Then, in May, Da’Nae made it clear that NLE’s public apology held no weight in her mind.
