Marquise Jackson Says “Different” Isn’t A Diss To 50 Cent, Wouldn’t Work With Him Because His Music “Hasn’t Been Too Good” Lately

Yesterday, 50 Cent’s son, Marquise Jackson, released a song called “Different” and with lyrics such as “Starting to think n**gas is the ones that’s out here catching their parent” and “Lost my pops, he’s still alive,” many listeners thought it was a diss track aimed at his father.

TMZ caught up with the teen where he explained that the song wasn’t intended to be a diss. “This is not a diss to my father at all,” he began. “People are making it a diss, because they want it to be a diss, but it’s not.” The young man went on to explain that his music is just helping him cope with things that he’s currently going through. Just like many other children with celebrity parents, Marquise just wants to be an individual and not always associated with his father.

Speaking of his father, TMZ asked Marquise if he’d work with 50 Cent and he said, “I don’t know! His music hasn’t been too good lately. He later added, “I don’t know if you people just hold him to a higher standard than usual, but his music hasn’t been too good lately.”

Roommates, would y’all agree with Marquise?
