Back in March Master P and Romeo Miller opened up about stepping away from WeTV’s hit reality show “Growing Up Hip Hop.” They have accused the producers of trying to create storylines that are not true for ratings, and now they are dropping the evidence to show everyone the reason as to why they decided to depart from the show.
On Monday, Master P shared a clip from behind the scenes of the show where he is talking to one of the crew members of the show about constructing a storyline that is not real for the sake of the show.
Master P said,” I’m only showing you this so next time youre watching this show you can use your real judgment and see how they flip people’s words and change positive moments into negative. This is the reason we quit 6 months ago. They edit for drama, we have more important things to worry about than fake producers creating fake love stories.”
He continued to stress the importance of ownership and he also offered his prayers to the other families involved in the show, as he expressed that he hopes that they can see past what is going on behind the scenes.
Over the weekend, Master P and Romeo also continued to warn others about appearing on reality television.
Back in March, while appearing on “The Breakfast Club,” Romeo said,” I’ve been in this business for 19 years. Im at a place where its all about my inner-peace. Its all about mental health and its about growth. Its not about the money. Im the highest-paid on the network. I had to walk away because I cant sell my soul for money. I cant sell my soul for a storylineIts fake drama for no reason.”
