Max B fans are hyped as he’s officially been released from prison. The Harlem rapper was originally sentenced to 75 years back in 2009.

Max B Walks Free After Serving Almost 16 Years In Prison

Billboard reports that Max B walked out of Northern State Prison in Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday, Nov. 9, after serving nearly 16 years behind bars. TMZ adds that he was originally sentenced to 75 years for his alleged role in a deadly New Jersey hotel robbery. But in 2016, it was reduced to 20 years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter.

Earlier this year, Max teased his release while calling into ‘The Joe Budden Podcast.’ At the time, he told the hosts he was feeling great and “righteous,” per Complex.Im doing all right. This is almost over. Wavy Baby coming home real soon. He also said he was hyped about getting back to work.

We on divine time. Im working. I cant wait to get re-acclimated. You already know Im a musical genius myself, so n****s gotta get re-acclimated with my s**t. Its a challenge. I love a good challenge. Im the trendsetter!” Max B added.

French Montana & Max Reunite

Fans weren’t the only ones hyped about Max B’s release. His longtime friend, French Montana,was too. On Sunday, French posted a video on Instagram of their long-awaited reunion and shared he felt overjoyed to have his brother back just in time for his 41st birthday, also on Nov. 9.

“CANT MAKE THIS UP ! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY B DAY ! HAMDULILLAH WALKED IT DOWN ! NO MORE FREE YOU,” French captioned his post.

Max B didn’t waste any time. Furthermore, he jumped right in like he said he would. A video from The People Gallery, a popular social media street-style page, caught him at the Jets game just hours after his release. Additionally, in the clip, Max flaunted his style and even said he’s ready to hit the studio with some top artists ASAP.
